When it comes to the eye care industry
, insurance benefits can be one of the toughest things to understand. Because insurance plans vary, we can only estimate your coverage, but cannot guarantee coverage due to the difficulty of insurance contracts. If you have routine vision benefits this may cover, routine eye exams, glasses or contact lenses. However, when you visit for any medical reason including allergies, ocular diseases, injuries, and dry eyes, etc., the insurance billed will be your medical plan. It is important to understand that medical benefits and routine vision are not always on the same insurance plan. In order to determine which insurance benefits to use (vision or medical) the patient's chief complaint (reason for making the visit) must first be assessed.
Please present insurance cards at check-in. Payments, including co-pays, are expected at time of service.
